Distance learning with grouping at the Carcassonne and Montpellier sites

class="img-responsive

Since the start of the 2012 academic year, access to this master's program has been available via hybrid distance learning (FADH).

Phases of face-to-face training will alternate with phases of distance work, regulated using the tools of a training platform. This training method also includes compulsory in-school internships.

For the coming academic year, face-to-face courses will be held in Carcassonne and Montpellier. Examinations will be based on the continuous assessment system defined in the "Modalités de Contrôle des Connaissances". In-class examinations take place at your choice of sites 48, 30, 11 and 66.

This partially distance-learning version of the MEEF master's program is open to students who meet the ordinary conditions for enrolment, but whose personal circumstances do not allow them to attend. It is therefore mainly aimed at students who are employed or who have a particular family or medical situation.

To be eligible for this course, you need to be in one of the following situations: an employee, a parent looking after a minor child, a person with a disability that prevents them from taking part in face-to-face lessons, or a top-level sportsperson or artist. The number of places is limited.

An admissions committee will examine all applications.

Candidates must apply on the Mon Master platform.

Student candidates must have a personal computer connected to the Internet and equipped with a webcam.

In M1 :

Provisional timetable for semesters 1 and 2 of the academic year, showing alternating phases of face-to-face work during group sessions, distance learning via a training platform and in front of students during the in-school internship (SOPA).

Information meeting during grouping 1: (Presentation of the Master's program, study regulations, assessment procedures, timetable, etc.) and technical training (getting to grips with the platform and ENT, etc.).

Remarks :

  1. The SOPA can be spread out over several weeks, after consultation with the teaching teams and subject to the agreement of the academic management.
  2. Absence from the 1st grouping cancels enrolment in the FADH scheme: the student is then subject to the same rules as students in attendance (attendance or exemption from insurance).

Organization of M1 :

In M2:
An M2 FADH year will be opened at the start of the 2021 academic year to meet the new teacher training scheme (competitive examination at the end of M2).

In addition to students who have completed their M1 by following the FADH pathway, this pathway will be able to accept students admitted to the FDE's M2 (or repeating the M2) MEEF premier degré program, whatever the site, who are unable to follow a classroom-based curriculum.

Candidates must register on the Faculty of Education's eCandidats platform and apply for the FADH course. An assignment committee will be convened to examine applications.
During the M2 year, FADH students, like all other students, take part in a part-time internship, working one day a week and a second day every three weeks.

Provisional timetable for semesters 3 and 4 of the academic year, showing alternating phases of face-to-face work during group sessions, distance learning via a training platform, and in front of students during internships.

Organization of M2 :

Innovative, personalized training throughout the course:

Taking account of previous experience

  • Specific reinforcement in math and French.

Taking into account the place of residence thanks to an academic network of 5 sites with :

  • Access to the resources of the Faculty of Education's various Document Resource Centers.
  • Geographical wishes for SOPA or SIPA are taken into account within the limits of available places (SOPA and SIPA must be in one of the 5 departments of the Montpellier academy).

Using the potential of the Montpellier Faculty of Education's training platform Depending on UE :

  • Provision of documents, presentation files and videos on a dedicated area of the platform.
  • Creation of interactive exercises, MCQs, questions, intermediate assignments.
  • Individualized follow-up through webcam interviews with teachers, dedicated forums, chat and FAQ.

Commitment

At the time of registration, students sign a commitment to take part in the face-to-face sessions and the entire distance-learning course.

  • Meet ordinary registration requirements
  • You must submit your application on the Mon Master platform.

Registration fees are the same as for face-to-face courses (approx. 250 euros, plus social security where applicable).

This Master's program is mainly aimed at students who are employed or have a particular family or medical situation.

  • The MEEF master's degree (Métiers de l'enseignement, de l'éducation et de la formation) offers training leading to a diploma in the teaching profession, as well as preparation for the CRPE exam.
  • An Occitan course for the MEEF premier degré is also offered in hybrid distance learning (FADH), after examination of applications by an admissions committee. This optional, complementary diploma course is also a preparation for the CRPE special exam in Occitan regional language. Students should refer to the specific brochure presenting the MEEF premier degré Occitan course.
