MENDE: A HUMAN-SCALE SITE IN A DYNAMIC UNIVERSITY ENVIRONMENT
The Faculty of Education, Mende campus, could be defined by the keyword "proximity, " by the small size of our university structure, but also by:
- The proximity to the trainers, who are accessible and committed, always listening to the students.
- The proximity of non-teaching staff, who are responsible for welcoming students, monitoring their academic progress, supervising and supporting student life on a site that is maintained daily to ensure the quality of life in all shared spaces.
- The proximity of students, in a city on a human scale offering all the services of a prefecture.
- Proximity and diversity, because our campus welcomes students from many departments across France, including students pursuing initial training for a bachelor's or master's degree, as well as those seeking professional retraining.

PEDAGOGY
At Mende, the small size of the workforce is a real advantage, with small workgroups boosting the chances of success and encouraging each individual to develop his or her professional skills.
EQUIPMENT
Inside and outside work rooms: video projectors, TBI, mobile digital classroom, computer room with free access outside class hours from 8am to 6pm.
STUDENT OFFICE
The "Bête D.E. - BDE - FDE Mende" association offers activities for its members.
RESTAURATION
A dedicated student area features a hot and cold drinks dispenser, sweet snacks, refrigerator and microwave.
STUDENT RESIDENCE :
The site offers around 20 places in 6 single rooms and 7 double rooms (to be shared or not) for monthly rates of €195, €215 or €245 (€165 if there are 2 occupants) or €280 for a PMR room if rented to a student without disabilities.
Each room is furnished, equipped with a shower room and a wifi connection.
The following services are available to residents:
- On-demand work rooms
- living room with television
- home with 7 kitchen areas to be shared between residents, dining room and living room
- but also outdoor spaces where you can enjoy the sunshine in a friendly atmosphere.

CULTURAL LIFE
Theater, cinema, multimedia center, library, festivals and other events are all part of life in Mendières throughout the year.
The Conseil Départemental de la Lozère offers culture lovers a portal to the department's cultural news.
SPORT
Mende, and the Lozère department in general, is one of the most sporty areas in France. A wide range of sporting activities are on offer, including outdoor activities.

The Mende CRD, located on the second floor of the main building, offers 20,000 books and 14 titles of general and specialist periodicals.
You can borrow 10 of these documents for a period of 3 weeks.
Collections tailored to training needs are being developed in educational science, competitive examination preparation and subject areas.
Special collections include textbooks for primary and secondary schools, children's literature and educational games.
Qualified staff can help you find documents, access and use resources, reserve documents, and arrange inter-CRD loans from the FDE.
