The Faculty of Education, Perpignan campus, supports students pursuing careersin teaching and education.

From the first year of the Bachelor's degree in Primary School Teaching (LPE), we train students who wish to prepare for the Primary School Teacher competitive examination with a view to continuing their studies towards a Master's degree in Primary Education (M2E).

We specifically offer the only training in the Académie to prepare for the competitive examination to become a Catalan school teacher.

We also offer a professional bachelor's degree (Bac+3) in "Coordination of Early Childhood Care Facilities" in partnership with associations (Ligue de l'enseignement, Mireille Bonnet, PIKLERLoczy, etc.) and institutions (DSDEN, Department, City Hall, CAF, etc.) working in the field of early childhood.

Montpellier University services :

The mission of the Centre Régional des Œuvres Universitaires et Scolaires (CROUS) is to improve living conditions for students. In particular, it is responsible for housing, scholarships and  social action.

The CROUS social worker welcomes and listens to students, whatever the nature of their difficulties (social, family, medical, psychological, administrative, financial...), informs them about all the measures concerning student life and directs them, if necessary, to the appropriate services.

Location: the CRD is located on the garden level of building A.

Specificity of the documentary collection : general and subject didactic works, a large collection of children's literature (4000 titles in albums, stories, theater, poetry and documentaries), works dealing specifically with the issue of bilingualism, a Catalan collection dedicated to the teaching of Catalan in primary schools, general and specialized periodicals in educational science, multimedia sector.

How to register : The loan is open to all students enrolled in the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Education teachers, administrative staff, continuing education teachers and master trainers. Students must carry their student card to facilitate loan entry.

Loan conditions : users may borrow up to 10 documents, including a maximum of 2 yearbooks. This loan is granted for 21 days. It may be renewed once, on request and provided the documents are not reserved. In the event of late arrival, the loan will be suspended in proportion to the number of days overdue. Repeated late arrivals will result in permanent suspension of lending rights.

Facilities : Four self-service computer workstations and a tablet are available for bibliographic research. Internet access is possible on these workstations, but all longer data entry and research work must be done in the computer room.

Various services within the CRD: Help with documentary research, interlibrary loans (ILL) from the FDE network, document reservation, access to electronic documentation from the Montpellier Interuniversity Library (journals and digital books) on all FDE workstations.
