Faculty of Education Council

Missions of the "Faculty of Education" Council

The Board of the Faculty of Education decides on all matters concerning the UFR, in accordance with the texts in force:

  • it elects the Director of the Faculty of Education and approves the composition of the management team on the Director's proposal;
  • it gives its opinion on the budget, which is then put to the vote of the university's central councils;
  • it votes on job campaign proposals submitted by the component to the central councils;
  • it issues an opinion on the organization of teaching, studies and assessments;
  • it adopts the Rules of Procedure;
  • it gives its opinion on contracts and agreements;
  • approves meeting minutes.

Composition

  • 5 representatives of teachers and similar staff

  • 5 representatives of other professors, teachers and similar staff

  • 4 BIATSS staff representatives

  • 2 user representatives

  • 4 external personalities.

Advisory commissions

The purpose of four consultative commissions is to enable staff and users to express their views on issues that concern them, in order to prepare the Board's deliberations and make proposals to management.

The Research Commission of the Faculty of Education

The purpose of the Research Commission is to promote links between education and research, and in particular to enable the Faculty of Education to support research in fields related to its educational activities.

Its role is to draw up criteria for the allocation of research grants from the Faculty of Education, and to approve proposals made by the deputy director or the project manager in charge of the committee.

It makes proposals for the recruitment of teaching and research staff.

The Education Commission of the Faculty of Education

It is empowered to give its opinion on all matters concerning the courses offered by the Faculty of Education.

It prepares the UFR Board's decisions on training matters by synthesizing proposals from departments and academic seminars.

It takes part in discussions on employment campaigns for teaching and research staff and similar positions.

The BIATSS Commission of the Faculty of Education

The BIATSS commission enables administrative and technical staff to be consulted on all matters concerning them, with the exception of individual situations.

The Student Life Commission of the Faculty of Education

The Student Life Commission consults students on the organization of their studies and student life.
