The Master's degree in Teaching and Education, specializing in School Counseling (M2E-CPE), prepares successful candidates for the role of school counselor in middle and high schools. It combines academic training, professional practice, and internships.

The purpose of this master's degree is to develop the skills needed to monitor students, ensure a learning-friendly environment, and contribute to the educational cohesion of the school in collaboration with teaching staff, families, and institutional partners.

A gradual introduction to the profession is ensured by a period of observation and supervised practice in M1, and a part-time internship with responsibility for students in M2.

The entire program aims to build a professional identity based on educational management, prevention, student support, and the joint development of the school environment, with a focus on collaboration with the entire educational community.

In the Montpellier school district, only the Faculty of Education offers this master's degree, in partnership with the Montpellier school district's INSPE (National Institute for School Education).

This master's program is available at the Montpellier campus.
