Master's Degree in Teaching and Education M2E Primary Education

The Master's Degree in Teaching and Education with a specialization in Primary School Teaching (M2E 1st degree) prepares CRPE (primary school teacher recruitment exam) graduates for a career as primary school teachers in nursery and elementary schools. It combines academic training, professional practice, and internships.

Its purpose is to train versatile teachers who are capable of teaching all subjects in the common core curriculum, while taking into account the diversity of students and contemporary educational issues.

It thus aims to train professionals capable of teaching at all levels of primary school in accordance with pedagogical, ethical, and institutional requirements.

A gradual introduction to the profession is ensured by a period of observation and supervised practice in M1, and a part-time internship with responsibility in front of students in M2.

In the Montpellier school district, only the Faculty of Education offers this master's degree, in partnership with the Montpellier school district's INSPE (National Institute for School Education).
