The journal Tréma aims to promote research in the educational sciences by disseminating the work of researchers from different countries and disciplinary backgrounds, brought together around the theme of education. The journal aims to be a place of convergence and debate on the full range of themes and issues affecting education. This plural dimension is reflected not only in the subjects studied, but also in the research approaches and methods used.

It is open to all disciplines that contribute to shedding light on education, and to issues that are the subject of debate within scientific communities and society as a whole.

With its international outlook, the magazine is also open to a variety of audiences: researchers, teachers, education and training professionals, students, etc. In accordance with the rules of scientific publication and the magazine's editorial line, the editorial and scientific committees are responsible for choosing the themes and the entire process of evaluating the articles in the dossier, notably through double-blind expert appraisals. Tréma is accredited by the HCERES as a journal publishing scientific articles, making it a benchmark journal in the educational sciences.
