European Heritage Days in Montpellier: Share Your School Memories
To mark the 2026 European Heritage Days, the Faculty of Education at the Montpellier campus invites you to a morning event dedicated to the school’s history and the heritage of photography. This friendly gathering, organized by the Friends of Educational History, will feature photographs and documents that tell the story of the school and its students.
Photos to Share Your School Memories
Do you have any photos from your school days? Come share them and reminisce about these precious memories at a gathering open to everyone.
Official and unofficial class photos, postcards, educational photographs, stills from films… These documents bear witness to a school and photographic heritage that lives on through everyone’s memories.
This morning will be an opportunity to explore, discuss, and bring these images to life, while connecting with others who share a passion for educational history and school heritage.

An event exploring the heritage of photography
This event is part of the European Heritage Days theme, which focuses in particular on photographic heritage and heritage at risk: revive, resist, reimagine.
Through the photographs and documents on display, participants will be able to help pass on a collective memory and preserve accounts of school life in the past.
As usual, the morning will conclude with a welcome reception hosted by the school’s administration, providing an opportunity to continue the discussions in a friendly atmosphere.
