Second-year students at the FDE campus in Mende place creativity and inclusion at the heart of their education.

As part of EU 306.2, dedicated to developing the skill of "developing and exercising creativity" in physical practice workshops, students in second-year students at the Faculty of Education in Mende organized an educational outdoor adventure in partnership with DITEP Maria Vincent (cycles 2 and 3).

An educational project promoting creativity and inclusion

Since September, future school teachers have been designing a multi-activity adventure aimed at learning how to imagine, structure, and lead physical education sessions in primary schools.

This project meets two major training objectives:

  • develop pedagogical creativity,

  • integrate an approach to inclusive education, one of the key challenges facing the current education system.

To this end, students work each year with:

  • the DITEP Maria Vincent,

  • the Bec de Jeu website, affiliated with the Ligue de l’Enseignement, enabling encounters and joint work with children supported by these organizations.

A raid consisting of 10 workshops to mobilize all of the students' resources

The raid on Thursday, October 16 brought together a dozen children around 10 different workshops aimed at developing their:

  • motor skills,

  • cognitive abilities,

  • social and emotional resources,

  • civic spirit.

A surprise challenge concluded the course: a collective treasure hunt, emphasizing cooperation, solidarity, and the joy of working together.

To recognize their commitment, the children received a diploma in mutual aid and solidarity, a powerful symbol of the values of fraternity promoted by the project.
