3rd Mende Student Day
Thursday September 12 saw the 3rd annual Student Day organized by the town of Mende.
From 3pm onwards, the Place du Foirail was the venue for this major event, which brought together almost 1,000 students, including the 130 enrolled in the Faculty of Education at the Mende site. The aim was to " help you discover, or rediscover, the city ". Its theme: " Take a tour of Mende ".
Students were able to take advantage of a wide range of activities to discover the city through culture, heritage and sport: surprises, sports, challenges, tastings of local produce and much more, culminating in an evening of entertainment by DJ Jobel.
The aim of the day is also to get students involved in local community life and enable them to meet the services offered by the town: Family Planning, Social Security services, Addictions France, Road Safety, the Mobility Agency, Lozère Habitations, the CROUS, the Scouts et Guides de France de Lozère, the GRIMP (Groupe de Reconnaissance et d'Intervention en Milieux Périlleux) firefighters, Le Trianon cinema, the Office de la vie associative...
The event was supported by the CVEC and CROUS.
