"Les Lucioles" film by Bérangère Jannelle

Grand prix 2018 du Festival International du film d'Education
Screening in the presence of director and teacher Sophie Renaud, poet Philippe Quinta and Christine Boutevin, lecturer at FDE Montpellier

A great film about a classroom approach to poetry. Sophie and the children in her class prepare for a poetic insurrection at the Leclerc center in Chateauroux, France, a film shot at the level of the pupils. We follow the day's various activities, the times of learning and artistic expression, the moments of intense concentration and the effervescence of the debates. We're carried away by the enthusiasm of the teacher and the children!

A necessary film for all those involved in education, teachers, parents, animators and educators, and a fine tribute to poetry and the collective.....before Poetry Week in March 2022

2 authors were kind enough to accept our invitation to attend the film screening and react with the audience afterwards.
