Hybrid training in M1 and M2 with distance learning and two compulsory group sessions
per year at the FDE in Montpellier.

Course description

The ACTES pathway is designed for those wishing to study and support the transformation of work and related professional activities in light of the challenges posed by the ecological transition.

It is part of an initial training or lifelong learning approach. It is designed for students and professionals from a variety of fields (education, architecture, agriculture, crafts, sport, etc.) who wish to engage in a tool-based analysis of work, professional activities and the associated experience, in order to enter into informal transformative approaches (in actual work situations, through innovation, for example) or formal ones (within the framework of training schemes, for example), taking into account the ecological challenges of the moment.

Although the focus of the ACTES program is on analyzing the work, activities and experiences of professionals, scientific work from a variety of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences (education and training, anthropology, philosophy, social economy, etc.), as well as the life sciences (ecology, agronomy, etc.), is mobilized.

General objectives

• Contribute to the development of high-level cross-disciplinary skills relating to the analysis of work and its transformation in the light of ecological issues
• Contribute to the development of robust, ethically and technically sound professional skills.

Organization

Designed to be followed while maintaining a professional activity, the training is based on
three systems:

• Two to three weeks of compulsory annual retreats, during the 1st week of school holidays
  of the school vacations (autumn, winter, spring).
• Stand-alone (asynchronous), synchronous or co-modal distance learning (some Wednesdays);
• Individualized support from a tutor to help you prepare your dissertation.

The multi-day courses will take place at the FDE Montpellier site.
Distance learning will be supported by a digital platform providing access to a range of resources: course documents, bibliographical elements, training activities, exchange mechanisms, etc.
