I'm repeating or tripling my year (L1, L2 or L3): when and how do I register?2025-02-13T10:06:20+01:00

After the academic jury on July 3, 2025 (for repeat students), you will receive an e-mail from the Faculty of Education's Registrar's Office with details of how to register for the following year.

Please note: due to the limited number of places available in L1, L2 and L3, registration deadlines are very tight: for the 2025-2026 year, you will only be able to register between July 7 and 14, 2025.

Registrations will be made exclusively online.

I'm already a Bachelor's student. What happens if I don't manage to complete my degree? Can I repeat a year? And what about tripling my degree?2025-02-06T14:12:23+01:00

In accordance with current regulations, students have the right to repeat a bachelor's degree. However, the University of Montpellier sets a limit on the number of times a student may register for a given degree; thus, for bachelor's degrees, a student may register a maximum of six times for the same course. If you do not validate your year, you will receive an e-mail at the beginning of July telling you how to re-register.

I'm already a Bachelor's student (L1 or L2) and I've validated my year of study: what is the procedure for enrolling in the next year (L2 or L3)?2025-02-06T14:11:50+01:00

After the academic jury for bachelor's degrees, scheduled for July 3, 2025, you will be informed directly by e-mail (by the Faculty of Education's education department) of the registration procedures for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The application process has also been simplified for students already enrolled at the Faculty of Education.

Entries will be accepted from July 7 to 16, 2025. Entries will only be accepted online.

A second registration period may be opened if required from August 22, 2025.

Is it possible to enroll directly in the 2nd or 3rd year of a bachelor's degree?2025-02-14T14:40:55+01:00

No, except in rare cases and for the L2 year only; direct enrolment in L3 is not possible (except for the L3 STIEF - see the specific section for this license).

In exceptional cases, direct enrolment in L2 may be accepted for students who are reorienting their studies, and who can prove that they have a level of study that would enable them to obtain the equivalent of a1st year bachelor's degree.

Applications for direct entry to L2 must be submitted via the eCandidat portal, between May 9 and June 14, 2025. You will be asked to submit a cover letter indicating the course(s) you would like to apply for, in order of preference, your1st year undergraduate transcripts, your1st and Terminale transcripts, and your baccalauréat results. If you do not indicate a training site, we will suggest the site with the highest number of vacancies.

You will receive an answer directly via the eCandidat portal between July 7 and 11, 2025. If your application is accepted, you will be offered an assignment site. If you accept this proposal, you will be informed of the dates and registration procedure.

I want to increase my chances of getting into the bachelor's program: can I apply to more than one site?2023-02-28T08:58:07+01:00

Yes, for the "Pluridisciplinarité et métiers de l'enseignement, de l'éducation et de la formation" degree, it is entirely possible to enroll at several Faculty of Education sites. As the program is offered at our five sites (Carcassonne, Mende, Montpellier, Nîmes and Perpignan), you can increase your chances of getting into the program by choosing several sites, or even all of them.

However, it is important to know that each application counts as one wish in Parcoursup.

On the other hand, the "Preparatory course for the professorship of schools" (PPPE) is only offered at the Montpellier site.

But it is possible to apply for both licenses at the same time.

I'm not a Terminale student, but I'd like to enroll in the 1st year of a bachelor's degree: how do I go about it?2023-02-28T08:57:38+01:00

The procedure is identical to that for future baccalaureate holders: you need to register your wishes in Parcoursup, according to the same timetable as for Terminale students. This procedure applies to all those wishing to enroll in the1st year of a bachelor's degree, whether in initial or continuing education, and whether to continue or resume their studies.

I'm currently in my final year of high school: when can I register?2025-02-06T14:10:15+01:00

You must first submit your wishes in Parcoursup, between January 15 and March 3, 2025, then confirm these wishes before April 2.

A commission will examine your wishes and, if your ranking allows it, you will receive an admission proposal from June 2, 2025, which may be affirmative ("yes") or conditional on reinforcement in French or mathematics during your first year of undergraduate studies ("yes if"). You will then have to accept or refuse our proposals, according to the Parcoursup timetable.

Final enrolment for our courses will only be possible once the results of the baccalauréat have been published, i.e. from July 7.
