Q: How much are the registration fees, and who is eligible for exemption?

University tuition fees for initial training are set annually by a decree issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. They differ depending on whether you are registering for a Bachelor's or Master's degree (but are identical for all three years of a Bachelor's degree and two years of a Master's degree). By way of information, for the 2024-2025 academic year, these fees amounted to 175 euros for a bachelor's year and 250 euros for a master's year. To these amounts must be added the cost of the CVEC (105 euros for 2025-2026). If you are a French government scholarship holder, a grant holder on social criteria or a ward of the nation, you are exempt from registration fees and the CVEC.

Q: Are registration fees the same for continuing education as for initial training?

No. Students enrolling in initial training must pay registration fees, the amount of which is defined at national level by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. Students enrolling in continuing education programs are required to pay a lump-sum fee more in line with the actual cost of a year's university education. Depending on individual circumstances, this amount can vary considerably. The university's continuing education department is your point of contact for all these questions.

Q: Are the courses offered by the Faculty of Education open to continuing education?

Yes, our entire range of courses is available as continuing education. The application procedure is the same as for the corresponding initial training, and the Faculty of Education manages all applications. However, candidates should contact the University of Montpellier's SFC (Service commun de formation continue) at the same time as they apply or register, without waiting for a response to their application(s): Espace Richter Rue Vendémiaire - Bât. Q: Why is registration online only?

The advantages of online registration are many: - it's completely secure, both in terms of personal data and payment; - it saves a considerable amount of time and reduces the need to travel, especially for students selected for the Carcassonne, Mende, Nîmes and Perpignan sites, since identity documents and diplomas are checked directly at the assignment site at the start of the academic year; - your ENT (Environnement Numérique de Travail) is immediately created, and your Scol'Pass (school certificate and receipt) is available within 24 hours of activation.

Q: When will I receive a reply to my application?

All applications will be examined by a commission. Answers will be communicated to all applicants from Monday June 2, 2025. As with Parcoursup, you can either be admitted, put on the waiting list or rejected. If you are admitted, you will have a period of time in which to accept or reject the admission offer. If you are definitively accepted, all other offers that may be made to you are cancelled. Full information on this subject is available on the Mon Master portal. Candidates on the waiting list will be called as and when they withdraw. No ranking on the waiting list will be communicated. All responses will be sent to applicants via the Mon Master platform. Applicants will be informed of how to proceed with their final registration as soon as they have accepted an offer of admission to a Master's program.

Q: When should I submit my application on the Mon Master portal?

Applications (also known as pre-registration ) will be open from Tuesday February 25 to Monday March 24, 2025 , for all our Masters programs.
