Q: I am not passing my year of training: can I repeat it?

In accordance with current regulations, students have the right to repeat a year in a master's program. However, the University of Montpellier sets a limit on the number of enrollments required to validate a degree; thus, for master's programs, a student may enroll a maximum of four times in the same course of study. After the academic jury meeting on July 3, 2026, if you are authorized to re-enroll in M2, you will be notified directly by email (by the Faculty of Education's registrar's office). You will be informed of the enrollment procedures at the same time.

Q: I have completed my year of training: when will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas are issued in the fall following the academic year in which they were obtained. If you obtained your diploma between July and September 2026, it will be made available to you at the very end of 2026. For more details on the procedures for collecting or sending diplomas, please refer to the relevant section of the website. In the meantime, and until my diploma is issued, I can use my certificate of achievement, which is available on my ENT after the examination board and has the same value as my future diploma.

Q: I am validating my year of training: how does re-enrollment work?

If you successfully complete your year of study, your enrollment for the following year is guaranteed. After the academic jury for master's degrees meets on July 3, 2026, you will be directly informed by email (by the Faculty of Education's registrar's office) of the enrollment procedures for the 2026-2027 academic year. The enrollment process is also simplified for students who have previously enrolled at the Faculty of Education. Enrollment will be open from July 6 to 14, 2026 . It will only be possible to enroll online. A second enrollment period may be opened if necessary from August 21, 2026.

However, the University of Montpellier sets a limit on the number of enrollments required to validate a degree; thus, for bachelor's degrees, a student may enroll a maximum of six times in the same program. If you do not validate your year, you will receive an email at the beginning of July explaining the procedure for re-enrolling. After the academic jury meeting scheduled for July 3, 2026 (for repeat students), you will receive an email from the Faculty of Education's registrar's office explaining the registration procedures for the following year. Please note : due to the limited number of places, the registration deadlines are very short: for the 2026-2027 academic year, you will only be able to register between July 4 and 14 . Registration will be done exclusively online.

Please note : for the "Multidisciplinarity and Teaching, Education and Training Professions" programs, the Faculty of Education organizes a graduation ceremony in March of the following year, to which graduates are invited (by email): no bachelor's degrees can be awarded before this period. For more details on the procedures for collecting or sending diplomas, please refer to the relevant section of the website. In the meantime, and until my diploma is issued, I can use my certificate of achievement, which is available on my ENT after the examination board and has the same value as my future diploma.

Important note: the "Multidisciplinarity and Teaching, Education, and Training Professions" and "Preparatory Course for School Teaching" programs will be discontinued at the end of the 2025-2026 academic year. Students enrolled in one of these programs who repeat the year will be re-enrolled in the "School Teaching" bachelor's degree program at the start of the academic year. After the academic jury meeting scheduled for July 3, 2026 (for repeat students), you will receive an email from the Faculty of Education's registrar's office specifying the registration procedures for the following year. Please note : due to the limited number of places, the registration deadlines are very short: for the 2026-2027 academic year, you will only be able to register between July 4 and 14 . Registration will be done online only.
